Edgar Sia II of Mang Inasal Makes It to Forbes’ Philippines’ 40 Richest

Thirty-four-year-old Edgar Sia II of Mang Inasal joins 39 other entrepreneurs in Forbes’ list of richest pinoys.

Forbes’ has released the list of the Philippines’ 40 Richest People and the latest addition this year is Mang Inasal proprietor Edgar Sia II who is only 34 years old.

Sia established the very Pinoy fast food chain dubbed as the first barbecue fast food chain in the country eight years ago in IloIlo when he was only 26 years old. Now, Mang Inasal is the Philippines’ third largest fast food chain with 380 stores.

Last year, he sold 70 percent of his store’s shares to Jollibee Food Corporation for $68 million earning him a net worth of $85 million catapulting him to the prestigious Forbes’ Richest list.
