Cnet CWR- 701S - Mini Wireless Server Router

It seems like compact and feature packed routers also known as travel routers are in trend today on SOHO market, there is Linksys WRT54GC and Netgear’s WGR101 to name a few. Now, Cnet Technology Inc. has its own version too, the CWR-701S - a wireless router and a server, all in one box.


The Cnet CWR-701S is especially designed for traveling office workers who needs to stay connected to the corporate network off-site. As a wireless-g router the CWR-701S supports 54mbps speed without the wires. It also supports advanced wireless security such as WEP and WPA-PSK and can operate in three modes, as a Router, Access Point or as a Wireless Client. As a server, the CWR-701S can be used as Webcam server, Print server and an FTP server. It measures 90 x 76 x 32 mm only which makes it very ideal router for traveling.
